Julia has recently been appointed
as Head of Leaden Hall School in Salisbury Close from January
2010. We are all looking forward to moving and living in
the famous Close. James achieved
his objective of being selected for POP (the
select Eton prefects) and both are excelling in sport. October 2007
Mark lives in Bath and (sometimes) Llysworney, South Wales with his wife Julia and their three boys, Nathan, James and Alex. Julia is the Deputy Head at the Royal High School Junior Department in Bath and plays the oboe, cor anglais and piano. Nathan plays the trombone, piano, bass and bass guitar. He is a Music Scholar at Eton College and sings tenor in the Eton College Chapel Choir. He won the prestigious Eton College Singing Competition in 2006 and hopes to read medicine after a gap year as a volunteer worker in Africa. James plays the trumpet, piano, guitar and is also a Music Scholar at Eton College. In 2002 James won the BBC Choirboy of the Year competition and travelled the World singing solo. James is in the ‘A’s for football and last year was runner-up in the National Fives Championship. Alex plays the cornet/trumpet, piano and drum kit; he is also a Music Scholar at Eton College and sings treble in the Eton College Chapel Choir. Alex recently featured on BBC Radio 3 and Radio 7 singing ‘The Snowman’ as part of the 2006 ‘Making Tracks’ Christmas Special. Alex is in the ‘A’s for football and recently had a ‘Trial’ for Berkshire. All the family enjoy the sports of: Triathlon, Tennis, Football, Skiing etc. Every Christmas the family entertains the village with a concert in aid of various charities, local and national.
